How your message is handled

Accepted messages are stored for editorial review and sent to the Animal President team. We keep your original message, supplied evidence, related reference number, public page path, selected reason and optional reply email. A receipt confirms storage; it does not mean email delivery or a published correction.

Cloudflare Turnstile handles the security challenge and processes browser and network information under its privacy policy. Our server sends the challenge token to Cloudflare for verification. It does not intentionally send your message or reply email to Turnstile. Form security and message handling do not depend on optional usage analytics. This contact page loads no optional analytics.

Jev AI classification is disabled for this release. No message is sent to an AI provider. Reviewers decide whether a correction is valid; a submission never changes a candidate record, article or source ledger automatically.

Approved retention: submissions 90 days; possible spam 30 days, unless a reviewer records an investigation hold. The approved maintenance process deletes expired records and associated queue events. Mailbox copies and backups follow their separately documented deletion and expiry process.

The form’s temporary security records contain random form-key and challenge-token digests rather than message text. Hosting, CDN, mail and security providers may keep separate operational logs. Their verified processors, IP handling, retention and backup expiry must be recorded in the launch privacy review. Please do not treat a message as anonymous if it contains identifying information. For removal requests, open the contact form’s reference field, choose Other, and describe the request. Requests can be received only when sending is enabled. A reviewer may need verification to protect someone else’s message.

We store your message, evidence, selected reason, public page path, optional reply email and related reference for human review. Cloudflare Turnstile checks submissions for abuse. A receipt confirms storage, not email delivery or a published correction. AI sorting is off. Please avoid personal or sensitive details. Use your AP reference when requesting removal.

Corrections are checked against evidence before changes are made.
